Who we are
We understand your side of the table because we've sat there.
We've built from both sides of the table. GGP is led by people who've run development and construction.

Chad Garrett
Founder & CEO, Good Good Plans, LLCHe answers for every job GGP takes on.
I've spent thirty years in construction and development: apartments, hotels, mixed-use, skilled nursing, medical office buildings and specialty suites. I was President of Construction at T&H Construction and, before that, Senior Executive Vice President of Construction at TWG. Earlier I worked at Duke Realty, Lauth, Mainstreet and Buckingham.
Most of those years I built for developers, where the construction budget and the deal are the same money. I still build that way. When I look at your budget, I'm looking at your return.
I once asked an operator at a manufacturer about the worst crisis of his year. A supplier missed a critical part, and his line could have been down for three days. He switched to a backup supplier he had qualified six months earlier for exactly that, and lost about four hours. I asked if his CEO celebrated.
"He doesn't know it happened. That's the point. When you build it right, the crisis doesn't happen. And when the crisis doesn't happen, nobody notices."
That's the job I want to hand every owner: one where the worst week of the year never comes, because we saw it months earlier and fixed it while it was cheap.
You'll hear hard news from us early, while there's still room to act on it. The best idea wins, whether it comes from your architect, our superintendent or a trade partner on site. None of this depends on me having a good day, either. I designed GGPathOS, our operating system, so the discipline holds on every job.
My reputation took a career to build. Your project carries it.

Jeff Beidl
President, GGP DevelopmentHe finds the deals GGP develops.
Jeff leads origination, from site and market selection through closing. He works with the sellers, brokers, cities and capital partners who make a deal possible.
He brings more than 30 years in real estate development and construction, on the owner's side and the builder's.
At Duke Realty he rose from preconstruction manager to development manager. He was on the team that pursued and managed more than $500 million of healthcare, industrial and office development for Fortune 500 companies. He oversaw the design of the first LEED Gold core-and-shell building in Indiana and the first LEED Gold building for the U.S. Air Force.
Later he was vice president of development at Buckingham Companies and a project executive at Pepper Construction. As a regional development manager at Amazon, he led site selection, then negotiated the land deals, build-to-suit leases and purchase agreements. Most recently he was president of development at T&H Investments.

Ray Van Amburg
Business Development & StrategyHe finds the owners GGP builds for.
Ray leads business development and helps shape GGP's growth strategy. He builds the relationships with owners, developers and partners that new work starts from.
He brings more than 20 years in construction sales and operations. Most recently he was vice president of business development and marketing at The Hagerman Group.
Before that he spent eleven years at Helitech, starting as business development manager for its civil construction division. He became national sales director for CNC Foundations and Helitech.
Earlier he was chief operating officer of JE Mechanical, a $15 million mechanical, refrigeration and electrical contractor. Before that he managed service and tenant finish work at Gaylor.
He studied at Butler University.

Truitt Daeger
President, GGP ConstructionHe runs construction.
Truitt owns delivery in the field: cost, schedule, quality and safety. He leads the field and project teams that deliver the building to the number.
He plans the job around the owner's deal. On The Assembly, a historic rehab in Indianapolis, keeping the historic tax credits meant finishing on time. Truitt built the plan around that date, including splitting the masonry restoration between two trade partners. The building finished on time, and the owner kept the credits.
He came up as a project manager at TWG Construction, finishing nine projects, more than 1,100 apartments in all. He ran The Cole, the historic Cole Motor Car Company buildings in Indianapolis, as vice president of construction operations.
He holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a degree in construction engineering and management technology from IUPUI.

Jonathan Reinking
Director of PreconstructionHe runs the reviews, the budgets and the bids.
Jonathan carries the budget from the first sketch through the permit set, with a constructability review at every design phase. When bids come in, he walks each scope in person with the three lowest trade partners in each trade, then levels the bids.
As preconstruction manager at Buckingham Construction from 2021 to 2024, he walked and budgeted hundreds of capital projects across more than 70 apartment communities, from full-building structural remediation to resurfacing parking lots.
Before that he was on the preconstruction team at TWG Construction from 2016 to 2021, starting as an intern and becoming preconstruction manager. He priced apartment communities across the country, including Broadway Lofts in Green Bay, Sunland Flats in Phoenix and Line Lofts in Indianapolis.
He also priced City View in Fishers: 192 apartments and ground-floor retail over a two-story garage.
He studied construction engineering at Purdue University.

Brad Welsh
Chief Technology OfficerHe builds the system GGP runs on.
Brad turns GGPathOS into software. He leads the build of the platform that will carry GGP's design reviews, deal reports and project records.
Mark Burge
General SuperintendentHe runs our job sites.
Mark leads the superintendents and the day-to-day work on site, from job setup through turnover. He has written the job setup, quality inspection and turnover procedures crews work from.
He brings more than 30 years in the field. He was general superintendent at T&H Construction, TWG Construction and Lauth Construction. His work spans multifamily, assisted living, medical and commercial buildings.
At Flaherty & Collins Construction he was senior superintendent on AXIS at Block 400 in downtown Indianapolis: apartments over a grocery and a four-story garage, built with a tower crane on a tight urban site.
At Mainstreet he was general superintendent and owner's representative on 19 rehabilitation and assisted living projects at once. At Lauth he delivered more than 2 million square feet of tenant improvement and specialty work, including medical offices, surgery centers and radiology suites.
At TWG he also ran the company's own carpentry crews and its equipment rental company.
